Robe Real Weddings: How to Find the Perfect Bridal Robes for Your Tribe
Robe has always been passionate about providing you with versatile resort wear that takes you from ocean to shore in style. And last year, we explored a new use for our pieces when we collaborated with some incredible vendors on a special wedding-themed shoot at the gorgeous Lucent hotel (you can see some the photos on Pinterest here!).
The morning of your wedding day is always special as you get glammed up with your bride tribe, and in matching bridal party robes you’re ready for your closeups. With a number of our styles available in both white and complementary colourways, we were SO excited to recently see two real brides who chose to wear Robes for a unique twist as they got ready for their big day. Our Robes are all designed to help you feel confident and sexy, and we definitely think this shines through thanks to the gorgeous brides and their tribes below.
Bec & Dave
This wedding is truly special, with Robe’s founder (also Bec!) serving as David’s best man. After welcoming baby Henley earlier this year, Bec and Dave had originally planned to elope to New York (super cool, we know!) and get married on a stunning terrace overlooking the Empire State Building. But… Corona had other plans, and instead the gorgeous couple decided to tie the knot at Brisbane’s most stunning hotel, The Calile. While it’s not quite New York, we think Brisbane looks pretty incredible here on the hotel rooftop!
Bec and her bridesmaid Andrea wore The Isabelle in Drakaina (from our soon-to-be-released collection, Cocktails at Sunset) for a sexy and fierce bridal robe look.
From Bec... I knew I didn’t want the classic silk dressing gown to wear during hair and makeup on my wedding day. I wanted something that I myself could use again, but something that I could gift to my mother-in-law and know she would wear it again.
My Robe was the perfect piece for my wedding day. It was light, comfortable to wear, but also comfortable to answer the door in and have people coming and going all morning. I felt covered, but sexy at the same time.
But seriously, one of the best wedding day accessories! The thing I love most is that I’ll have something special from my day that will come on every holiday, especially the honeymoon we are yet to have. I literally sat poolside in my Robe the day after our wedding…

Jenny and Nick
We were introduced to Jenny through our favourite wedding planner and stylist extraordinaire Danielle from White+White Weddings. Jenny and Nick got married at the stunning Elements of Byron resort, meaning Jenny’s choice of The Ollie (in Felidae for her, and Charbon de Bois for her tribe) were the perfect bridal party robes when getting ready in the morning. With distinctly bohemian styling and personalised touches, their bridal Robes complemented the neutral colour palette and added a chic finishing touch. A spot of rain couldn’t stop this stunning couple from enjoying their magical day, adding a moody vibe to their seaside ceremony!
From Jenny… Thank you again both for the opportunity for myself and my bridesmaids to wear your gorgeous robes on our wedding day! Felt amazing to wear Robe morning of.
