The Nikki II in Japanese Bloom
Released as part of Robe's It's Always Summer Somewhere collection, The Nikki quickly became a bestseller. Named after model, blogger, and friend of the brand Nikki Phillips, this floaty maxi dress was designed with European summer in mind.
And now, for our third collection Cocktails at Sunset, we have reimagined this incredible piece with a few subtle changes that make it much more ready-to-wear: The Nikki II.
We gathered feedback from our amazing customers, and The Nikki II now features a full button-down front that allows you to show as much skin as you want to. For the Cocktails at Sunset collection, we've also sourced custom buttons made from the corozo (also known as the tagua) nut that was personally chosen by Bec for its versatility and hardiness. A natural material, it also demonstrates our brand's commitment to reducing unnecessary waste as we continue our journey to sustainability.
The Nikki II now also features a wider belt (which also looks fabulous as a head scarf!) but like the Nikki, it is still made from Robe's signature cotton/silk blend so it floats beautifully around the body. It was released in two brand new colours as part of the Cocktails at Sunset collection, and you're sure to love the Japanese Bloom print illustrated especially for Robe by Brisbane artist Penelope Bell. A modern floral with oriental influence, this is a show-stopping design that's perfect for any occasion.
Our model is 5'9, wears an Australian size 8 and is wearing a size 1 Nikki. Check our sizing information to ensure a beautiful fit.
Every piece in Robe’s collection is created with high quality fabrics and finishes. However, our materials include delicate, natural fibres such as silk and modal, and so your Robe should be treated with care in order to keep it looking beautiful.
To do this, we recommend that you follow our care instructions. Please note, these are also available on the care tag on your Robe.
What makes Robe’s silk blend resort wear unique is its easy-wash capabilities. We recommend either hand washing, or using a gentle machine cycle, to wash your Robes with a delicate-friendly washing detergent.
Do not spin or tumble dry your Robes – the bespoke fabrics are designed to dry quickly, naturally! Robe recommends that you hang them out to dry as soon as possible, as it’s best to avoid packing or storing your garments when they’re wet.
Do not soak or bleach your Robes, as this may cause the dyes on some garments to run. We always use the best possible dyes available, but your particular care can help ensure that the colour stays fresh and fast for longer by also avoiding excess contact with harsh chemicals. This includes avoid contact with suntan lotions, sunscreens, saunas, spas, pools, deodorants, makeup and perfume. However, please remember that it’s normal for some colours to fade over time with wear.
Please note that in some cases, there may be minor inconsistencies in our fabrics or seams. These are not faults, and rather indicate the high quality, natural fabrics that are used in our luxury resort wear. If you have any questions about quality or care of your Robes, feel free to contact us at email@example.com.
